Assistant Merchandise Planning Control ManagerSterling Paper Group of Companies
Coordinates with Sales (Concession Head) during annual sales planning the following: forecast sales, basis for allocation, estimated returns, number of new stores, etc. Review the actual POS sales performance of individual SKUs.
Monitors and consolidates sales liquidation per SKU usage, per branch, per month, per company *if available, as reference for sales plan, forecasting and allocation
Prepares stock plan/allocation, aligned with planned sales increase to support meeting the sales target of the concession group for key seasons, considering display allowances for mass display, extra area, category highlight, taking also into account the target seasonal returns.
Evaluates and classifies stores based on its net sales performance (Store Class: MINI - XXXL) as basis for allowable SKUs.
Determines and recommends allowable (Never Out List) SKUs with quantity to maintain per store class/ per branch *if possible, based on its historical net deliveries and actual POS.
Develops and provides merchandising/product display guidelines in order for roving/statio promo to have reference in managing inventory at store level. (Target: Ave inventory of 3 to 4 months or 3 to 4 stock turn per year)
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• With exposure from retail/FMCG/Manufacturing industry is an advantage
• Preferably candidates with background in paper industry
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• With strong leadership and people management skills
• Keen to details, results driven and can work under minimum supervision
• Ability to cope up in a highly fast paced environment
• Amenable to work in CALOOCAN CITY.
