Monitors the daily operations and activities inside the plant and make solutions on the issues and problems to ensure effective operations and obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment.
Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities based on the stocks inventory level and sales requirement to ensure availability of the stocks.
Develops production and quality control standards, budget and cost control, and obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of rice ordered to ensure compliance to Good Manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and food safety procedure.
Closely coordinates with the contract growing department for the inbound and outbound transactions.
Oversees the administration of the plant that includes security and welfare of the people and company assets.
Reviews and approves attendance and activities of employees and laborers to ascertain that all entries are written on the daily time records are true and valid.
Evaluates, validates and approves request being done by departments pertaining to repairs and maintenance of machines, equipment, and facilities in the plant.
Does forecasts on facility capabilities and manage annual production operation budget to ensure that the plant is operating within the approved budget.
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Management courses or equivalent.
At least 5 years of functional experience in agriculture and manufacturing industry, 3 years in a senior capacity.
Knowledgeable in Plant administration and Production Management, handling people.
Excellent in written and oral communication skills, computer literate, strong leadership skills; a good team player.
Amenable to work in DAVAO
